As a one-time Spice Girl, it would have seemed beyond the realms of possibility some years ago that Victoria Beckham would be hitting the fashion heights. But with her VB Collection showing off the curves of Elle MacPherson and Drew Barrymore and a range of shoes and handbags reportedly in the pipeline, why on earth would Mrs Beckham stop there?
Rumour has it, and her spokesman has been quick to play down the idea, that Posh is about to join forces with manager Simon Fuller once again.
And this time, there will be no singing involved. Insiders say the 35-year-old is currently in talks with the Pop Idol creator with a view to setting up a New York modelling agency.
Fuller already has a 51 per cent controlling stake in Storm Models in London and is looking to embark on a similar venture Stateside, whilst Victoria is certainly no stranger to the catwalks these days.
A source told the Daily Mail: "Simon knows that Victoria is very savvy when it comes to fashion.
"Simon's first foray into fashion was to team up Roland Mouret and Victoria, which was a huge success.
"Victoria is a key asset to Simon and he wants her to take on a major role."
And should the agency take off, no doubt the lucky chosen models will get off to a flying start with all those fabulous VB designs at their fingertips.
