If you're the type who has already dismissed astrology as a load of old rubbish then the latest research may have you thinking twice.According to a study of 100 celebrities, past and present, it's the Sagittarians that are reaching for the stars, and they're twice as likely to hit the big time.
The study, carried out by the Cartoon Network, revealed that nearly one in five child stars are Sagittarians and Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Scarlett Johansson are just a few of those celebrating their birthdays between November 22 and December 21.
Virgos, Cancerians, Librans and Aquarians were next in line, with each sign managing nine per cent of child stars.
Sagittarians are popularly described as driven, ambitious and broad-minded but at times argumentative and blunt, which may explain they're success in the cut-throat world of showbiz.
And astrologer Jonathan Cainer was not surprised by the results. He told the Daily Mail: "Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of hope, and Sagittarians possess 'have-a-go' personalities.
"The qualities of that sign bestow a lack of inhibition and a natural, exuberant confidence.
"Sagittarian children are particularly bouncy – they have a Tigger-like quality to their character."
Bad news for the Taureans though, who finished last in the survey.
Jonathan added: "If Sagittarians have a Tigger-like quality, Taureans are more likely to have an Eeyore-like quality."
