Keira Knightley has a tiny 23-and-a-half-inch waist, according to her body double in 'The Duchess', Justine Gale...Justine Gale - who was a body double for the actress on the set of her new movie 'The Duchess' - has revealed the extent of the actress' tiny body.
Justine - who has the same measurements as Keira and tried on all the outfits before scenes - said: "When pulling in my corset, all measurements were checked. I was most thankful for that on the day a new wardrobe assistant mistakenly pulled me into a 22-and-a-half-inch waist. Ouch! I'm sure Keira felt the same... and thankfully I was 'let out' an inch."
"Anyway, any pain was worth it to be able to wear the unbelievably beautiful dresses, some of which were fitted on me just hours before they were worn by Keira and shot on screen."
Keira admits she had some difficulties squeezing into all the restrictive costumes for her role in the period drama.
She explained: "I had quite a few different corsets, and it was really weird because they were all obviously made to measure for me, but some of them I could breathe in, and some of them I absolutely couldn't... and it was a complete nightmare!"
Keira isn't the only celebrity to have a tiny waist.
Kylie Minogue was reported to have a 16-inch waist corset when she went on tour in 2005, while Victoria Beckham is said to have a 23-inch waist.

Keira Knightly doesn't have any flesh around her ribs (you don't have much even if you're a healthy size anyway), so it sort of follows that she is going to have a small waist. Some people just have that ironing-board figure. At least they're not having their bottom ribs removed simply to make their waists smaller! I'm not slim, but I do have a small waist! But yes, you are right: she doesn't look too healthy - but there again she wouldn't be able to put too much weight on, otherwise she'd look swamped.

I think this kind of article is making it look good to be that size and could put pressure on very influencial teenagers to starve them selves.
I am no skinniy mini i will admit that but I would rather have a few extra curves than look like an ironing board with fried eggs if you get what i mean.

I love the looks and size of Keira, she looks fabulous , the most sexy women on the planet at the moment. I also like curvey women but overweight and fat women are the biggest turn off .
